| OOLONG TEA These teas are semi-black and semi-green. When they are processed they are not completely fermented like the black teas. Whereas, the green teas are not fermented at all, they are only steamed, rolled and dried. It could very well be the black/green blend of the Oolong teas that cause them to posses such high health benefits. The majority of the Oolong comes from China or Taiwan. The teas from Taiwan are sold bearing the island's former name Formosa. A good Oolong tea has a sweet aroma and the flavor is often said to be peach-like. |
